ROBIN H. ROBERTS

ABOUT THE ARTIST & PRICES

A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Representational transparent watercolors on paper and water based-oils and acrylics on canvas painted in a non-traditional way characterize the work of Robin H. Roberts. Using a limited palatte of  seven vivid colors her works come alive with positive and uplifting energy. Each painting is inspired by a personal experience or impression gained by the artist as she travels to her national exhibitions or to various coastal regions or islands for research. Scenes depicting the Caribbean, American seashores, Mexico, the Yucatan, Texas and the Rio Grande borderlands are painted from many combined images to capture the essence of that location. Her love of the colors and the culture of Mexico influence all her paintings.

Robin H Roberts has exhibited in hundreds of exclusive juried shows in 45 cities in 13 states including exhibitions in Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Miami, Albuquerque, Ann Arbor, MI, Pensacola, Virginia Beach, Denver, Santa Fe, Chicago and every major city in Texas. She has been an exhibiting member of the Southern Watercolor Society, the Kentucky Watercolor Soc., the Oklahoma and Alabama Art Guild and a signature member of the Texas Watercolor Society.  She has been chosen as a featured artist of the Coral Gables Festival of Art in Miami, Florida, the poster artist for the Laredo George Washington Birthday Celebration and Texas 100 Art Festival, and an exhibiting artist at the Laredo Center for the Arts in multiple shows.
